Appointment for Aadhaar enrollment

  • If the enrollment center do not have online booking facility then you have to visit enrollment center without prior appointment as all the enrollment centers do not have online appointment facility.
  • At the center you have to fill Aadhar enrollment form available free of cost, Which you can also download from this link – Aadhar enrollment form.
  • Attach Your Identity and Address proof .Common proofs of identity are Pancard, Govt. ID card, Election card, Driving License, and Proof of  address are Ration card, passport, Water ,Electricity ,telephone bills from the last three months.
  • UIDAI process accepts 18 PoI (Proof of Identity) ,4 DoB (Date of Birth Certificate) and 33 PoA (Proof of Address)   documents.

  • In case you do not have above PoI  ,you can have certificate of Identity having photo issued by Gazetted offices/ Tehsildar on their letter heads is also accepted as valid PoI.
  • Similarly You can have certificate of address having photo issued by  MP/ MLA/Gazetted offices/ Tehsildar/on their letter heads or by Village Panchayat Head or its equivalent authority for rural areas  is also accepted as a valid PoA.
  • If someone in the family does have valid documents still he/she can enroll if his/her name added in the family entitlement document.
  • In this case head of the family has to enroll first with all the valid documents than he can introduce other family members.
  • If no documents are available you can take the help of introducer avialable at the enrollment centers.
  • Along with the filled form your finger prints ,Iris scan ,and Photo will be taken.
  • Then you will be provided with an acknowledgement slip having  a 14 digit (EID) enrollment ID, and 14 digit date/time .These 28 digit together form your enrollment ID (EID). Which you have to keep safe to download your E Aadhar or to check your Aadhar status.
  • Your Aadhar card will be delivered to your registered address by post.
  • It will take about 3 months to receive your Aadhar card.
